Day 12 ~ Wednesday, September 5, 2012: Fairbanks

After a morning walk, visit to the Museum of the North at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, a brief tour of the city, and lunch at the lodge, we flew from Fairbanks to Anchorage, then to Dallas.

Day 13 ~ Thursday, September 6: Arrive Charlotte 10:50 AM ~ Thanks to Jane for picking us up at the airport.

After leaving Anchorage 1.5 hours late at 10:00 pm on September 5, we arrived in Dallas at 7:00 am. Our flight to Charlotte was already boarding. However, we landed 5 minutes early in Charlotte and were amazed that our luggage had arrived with us.
