Travel Whittier to Talkeetna & McKinley Lodge

Turnagain Arm	Water & dead trees	Mud flats
Turnagain Arm has the second highest tide in North America. Trees in the photos died after the ground in the head of the arm dropped an average of 10 feet and the area was flooded with salt water during the 1964 earthquake. The mud flats are extremely dangerous.
